PlyMake & Stitch is a community craft group that supports people with a variety of crafting projects. As part of this initiative, I have been responsible for designing and maintaining the group's website, posters and other resources.

Website Design
To give the group an online presence, I built our website using Google Sites. The goal was to create a space that was:
Easy to navigate
Reflective of our creative and community-based values
Informative for new and returning members
The site includes:
Session times and location
Recent member makes
A simple, mobile-friendly layout
A soon-to-be growing section of downloadable craft resources
Learning Resource: Crochet Stitches
Inspired by a simple crochet cheat sheet I designed for on-the-go reference, this interactive digital learning piece was created to help crafters understand key crochet stitches and terminology. Built with Genially and embedded into the PlyMake & Stitch website’s Members Zone, it includes clickable terms, stitch explanations, and tips for navigating British and American differences; all in an engaging, mobile-friendly format.
Reflection
This ongoing project has given me opportunity to:
Design for informal and community-based learning.
Blend my creative and professional interests to build something meaningful and practical.
